Anxiety Counselling

When anxiety takes over, life can feel smaller, harder, and more exhausting than it should. Whether it shows up as constant worry, overthinking, panic, tension, or feeling “on alert” all the time, anxiety can make even simple decisions feel overwhelming.

You don’t have to manage it alone. Anxiety is highly treatable, and with the right support, you can feel calmer, more grounded, and more in control again.

What anxiety can look like

People come to me with experiences such as:

  • Overthinking and racing thoughts

  • Worrying about worst‑case scenarios

  • Feeling tense, on edge, or unable to relax

  • Panic attacks or fear of panic

  • Difficulty sleeping or switching off

  • Fear of judgement or social anxiety

  • Feeling overwhelmed by everyday tasks

  • Constant self‑criticism or doubt

  • Reassurance‑seeking and “checking” behaviours

If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone — and it’s absolutely possible to change these patterns.

How I help

My approach to anxiety is:

  • Structured — clear goals, steady progress

  • Compassionate — no pressure, no judgement

  • Integrative — tailored to your needs

  • Neurodivergent‑affirming — supportive of ADHD/autism experiences

  • Evidence‑based — grounded in CBT‑informed and solution‑focused methods

Together, we explore:

  • What triggers your anxiety

  • How your thoughts, feelings and behaviours interact

  • What keeps the anxiety cycle going

  • How to interrupt patterns that no longer serve you

  • Practical tools to reduce overwhelm

  • Ways to build confidence and emotional resilience

You’ll learn strategies you can use immediately — not just in sessions, but in everyday life.

Who I work with

I specialise in supporting:

  • Adults experiencing generalised anxiety

  • People with social or performance anxiety

  • Neurodivergent adults (diagnosed or self‑identified)

  • People‑pleasers and overthinkers

  • Individuals in high‑pressure or demanding roles

  • Remote workers and tech professionals

  • Anyone feeling stuck in worry, fear or overwhelm

What sessions look like

We work collaboratively to:

  • Understand your anxiety patterns

  • Reduce physical and emotional symptoms

  • Build internal reassurance (not external dependence)

  • Strengthen boundaries and self‑worth

  • Develop coping tools that actually work

  • Create sustainable change, not quick fixes

You don’t need to “just cope” or “push through”. You deserve support that helps you feel calmer, clearer and more confident.
